Castle View Matte Painting

An exercise where I combine both matte painting in photoshop and compositing in nuke to replicate a scene starting from a simple thumbnail sketch. In the nuke scene. The castle in particular was constructed with 5 different images ( including the wall which had the ground as well). I only needed to use planes basic 3D shapes to create the depth of the scene, it was just a matter of adjusting the height, distance and angles.
